During the banquet at the 2001 reunion in New Orleans, the Association members that had served with the 325th during
the Normandy invasion received, on the behalf of the country of France, a Thank You Certificate. The French Consul General
in New Orleans, Monsieur bernard Maizeret, personally distributed the certificates to each individual. The certificate is
meant to express the gratitude of the French people to the soldiers who participated in the liberation of France between 6
June 1944 and 8 May 1945.
